In this society, people no longer make purchasing decisions based on practicality or quality—only on data.
Trasher is the most influential consumer platform of its time.
By combining trend culture, social media dynamics, and e-commerce mechanisms, it has become the dominant gateway to shopping today.
Any product that garners enough attention—whether a fashion item, accessory, or even a basic necessity—will inevitably appear on Trasher.
This project presents a fictional platform, Trasher, as a reflection of the distorted value system in contemporary consumer culture.
When numbers replace judgment, and conspicuous consumption overrides actual needs,
people no longer buy what they need—they buy to be seen.
Through simulating a realistic shopping app interface and visual language,
the design captures a consumer mindset that feels absurd, yet all too real in the age of social media.
